We’re excited about being part of the revitalization of the 1900’s mill village area of Hillsborough.  The anchor for Hillsborough Station is a 3500 sq ft General Store called The Depot at Hillsborough Station (www.hillsboroughdepot.com)  Now open, The Depot is a wonderful place for a great cup of fresh-brewed Carrboro coffee, hot pastries, hand-scooped Maple View Farm ice cream, a legendary hot dog, craft beers, and wine. Ad to that a rich assortment of art, great live music (a Wedensday evening "Open Mic" for singer-songwriters hosted by Bill Whitmore) ,classic candies, and you have the recipe for fun.   It is THE new hot spot in town and features free Wi-Fi to boot.  There is plenty of free parking and the Station is just a short stroll to Gold Park and the planned Riverwalk to downtown Hillsborough.  Additional retail and restaurant space is planned for the Station as well.
